Title: | Peer to Peer Based Decentralized Voluntary Computing Framework |
Authors: | Rajapaksha, A.S. |
Issue Date: | 12 |
Abstract: | Voluntary computing is there to share distributed computing resources such as processing power in order to accomplish complex computing tasks. Existing voluntary computing platforms are typically based on a client-server architecture, which has inherent shortcomings with respect to robustness, reliability and scalability. By converging p2p systems and voluntary computing it can build scalable infrastructure for executing complex applications on a widely distributed set of resources. Our system allows user to submit jobs and to execute jobs submitted by users to run on any application node available in the network. |
