Title: Trusted Partitioning for Wireless Mesh Networks
Authors: Dinusha, S.S.
Issue Date: 19-Dec-2013
Abstract: Almost all existing routing Protocols for wireless mesh networks depend heavily on the fair behavior of nodes participating in the network. Due to their dependability Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) are vulnerable to many threats breaching routing protocol. One such vulnerability is, nodes acting selfishly within a network, mostly due to power constraints. This leads to route congestion and power exhausting at other nodes. Trusted Partitioning for Wireless Mesh Networks is a solution for this drawback, in which, nodes in a network classified in to one trusted partition and one or more isolated nodes. To achieve trusted partitioning novel schema is presented as (route) Reliable (node) Rated Dynamic Source Routing (RRDSR)RRDSR is a combination of multipath routing and experience based node rating.
