| Abstract: | This research has been conducted for the Sri Lankan Railway to provide a solution for the main problem it is facing today; train scheduling. First, the current manual Railway system has been automated to increase the e ciency of the Railway. Then, optimization algorithms have been implemented to maximize the functionality of the system resulting in highly reliable con ict-free train scheduling. |
