Authors: Zoysa, A.C.R.De.
Issue Date: 17-Dec-2013
Abstract: Resource management in the Computer grid is the most challenging task in a Grid System. The grids must support thousands to millions of computers with low resource management overhead. There are many reasons to increase the resource management overhead. Scheduled tasks which are running for a long time in a grid node can impact on performance of a Grid. In this thesis we introducing a model to increase the grid performance by monitoring the scheduled tasks of the Grid node. Then the resource management system could take into consideration of scheduled task information of a grid node.
