Despite the fact that TCP/IP reference model has been well established among the Internet community, it exhibits some considerable drawbacks due to the coupling between the Application Layer and the Network Layer. This project is meant to highlight those drawbacks that the current implementa- tion of TCP/IP reference model exhibits. We show that this coupling can be removed by introducing a new addressing schema act as an intermediate addressing in-between the mapping of Domain name and Network address. Finally we depict on various implementation models which can be used to deploy this idea.en_US
