A process scheduler which supports the multicore processor environment is tried to be created here. Linux operating system is used for the implementation purposes. The implementation is done using set and gets a±nity system calls. A pthread program which multiplies two matrices is considered here for the research. Di®erent threads are scheduled in di®erent cores in di®erent combinations and timings are evaluated in order to understand how e®ectively the processes can be scheduled.en_US
