| Abstract: | Supply chain and logistics are important processes of an organization in the contemporary business world. For an organization to get the maximum advantage from those processes it is advised to use collaborative decision making among related parties throughout the supply chain. This research has studied a supply chain of a major soft drink manufacturer closely and at each stage. As a solution to identified problems this presents an information system called Supply Chain Collaboration System. This product is entirely based on Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) which may be a plus point in justify the benefit. 6 |
