Web Based SIM Registration Management System For WaveNET International (PVT) Ltd

Abstract

WaveNET International private Limited is a well known software solution providing company in Sri Lanka. Specially one of the leading solution provider for fixed line and mobile operators. At the moment it is looking for some innovative and modern solutions to introduce to the mobile operators. This system is one out of them which can be market for mobile operators. Currently the operator SIM registration process is a manual process which is less efficient and time consuming. So this web based solution will speed up the process quite significantly. This system is mainly divided in to two parts. The system management web interface for the operator and the SIM registration web interface or the retailers. The system management web interface will be the administration module of the system. The super admin can maintain different user roles with the privileges assigned to those roles. According to the assigned user role privileges, the logged user can view the available functionalities for them and can perform operation on them. The system was developed according to the Three-tier architecture and also Object Oriented techniques were used. Unified Modeling Language was used in the Analysis and Design stages of the project. System was developed with PHP Version 5. MySQL Server Version5 was used as the database server in Windows environment. This system gives a smooth functioning procedure with a user friendly environment. Functional and non-functional objectives were also achieved. This system will help Mobile operators to manage their SIM registration process effectively and more smoothly with the efficient time management.
