Abstract: We are living in a world which is strongly combined with information technology. In this modern IT ruling world humans cannot even imagine a day of living without using IT. So Information technology has involved with most of our daily activities including education. Education plays a major role in our life. Education has the power to define a person s whole life. So creating a system which address the activities related to the education will makes that system extremely useful for the majority of our society. Student and Learning management system covers some of the important activities related with the education. So Online Student and Learning management system will bring the power of the internet as well as the accuracy, efficiently and power of the computer science to the users. The goal of this project is to develop an Online Student and learning management system (OSLMS) for school of advanced programming in Yakkala.This system will support students, Staffs, Lecturers and administrators to carry out their duties in efficient way. E-learning, student registration and management, report generation, course administration, course administration and provide course information to students are the some of the features supported by this system. The system is developed using Visual studio 2010 with ASP.NET, C#.NET, AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) and MS SQL Server 2008 Database management system. It is based on object oriented concepts.
