Abstract: Wage Payment System (WPS) is a regulatory project initiated by ministry of labour of UAE in order to safeguard payment of worker?s salaries at United Arab Emirates (UAE), to reduce labour dispute pertaining to wages and to protect the rights of employees. As a participating entity client bank has developed WPS? to comply with Central Bank. Objective of the WPS? is to provide reliable solution for the bank to manage the incoming and outgoing payment files in efficient manner with minimal user intervention while maintaining the higher level of customer satisfaction and enforcing controls to prevent intentional or unintentional errors Scope of the project is to provide a web based user interface to manage customer profiles, upload the salary files from customer to central bank and mechanism to process the incoming salary files. The UML (Unified Modeling Language) is used to sketch the blueprints of the system. The evolutionary development with prototyping is used as the system development methodology and object oriented system design is used to design the system. For development ASP.Net and C Sharp.Net is being used. Handling the database of the system is carried out using SQL server The WPS system is implemented successfully according to the business requirements and it is achieving its objectives. WPS is one of leading income generator for the bank.
