Stock and Sales Management System For SAGO Sports Goods Center

Abstract

This dissertation illustrates the important points of an Information system which was developed for SAGO Sports by highlighting the development activities, installation process guides, Configurations and so on. This system which manage stock and sales, will create a centralized controllability over SAGO Sports. System was developed to suit both network and standalone environment. Main problem which was overcome by this solution was the lack of showroom stock refill automation. Not only that, this solution also supports for tracking orders, transactions and even it keeps a track about employees, customers and suppliers too. This solution will provide a POS system to speed up the transactions. Also the collected data will be used for creating reports such as Day Ends and collection detail reports. When a specific product reached its refill level, system will automatically send a message to Store manager indicating the low product count. For the orders, the system will do the same thing and send a detailed report to the store manager indicating all relevant details to add the ordered products to next shipment. System will generate operational and managerial level reports and also will facilitate for different levels of users with customized functionalities. This windows based solution was developed using technologies such as C#.net, MS-SQL, and Crystal reports mainly. Complete system follows MVC architecture allowing multiple future expansions.
