Abstract: Construction Project is a process of transferring thousands of paper work into a reality through effective management of time, budget, technology, infrastructure and environmental conditions according to the regulations of local authorities without damaging the sustainability of the green environment. Key stakeholders of the project who are client, designer, consultant and contractors working together several years form difference distance location to materialize the concept. The whole idea of this project is to integrate all of the stakeholders and keep them up-to-date, irrespective from the place where they are working by providing effective set of online services. Integrated Construction Project Management System will be a vital tool for any property developer to improve the quality, productivity and efficiency of construction projects with set of structured solutions provided by several modules for document management, meetings management, quality assurance, project monitoring and controlling with removing the all communication barriers among the stakeholders of a construction project organization. The system is operates over number of users form different distance remote locations. Therefore the system is developed as client-server based system and Server will be maintained by the project client who is the owner of the construction project. All users will access the system from the Office, home or may be from other country. Users can access the system to get central information, approval or get any other services provided by the system. Central server is running on MS SQL DB server, IIS HTTP server and .NET framework on windows platform. Web based Integrated Construction Project Management System is designed using Object Oriented Development techniques. MS Visio is used for model the system with diagrammatic representation. Object Oriented Programming techniques are used to implement the system and MS Visual Basic .net in MS Visual studio 2005 is used as software development tool with MS SQL as database management system.
