School Management System for Regent International College, Gampaha

Abstract

School Management System is developed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of schools day to day work. Data storage, data search and report generation is difficult and gets more time in manual system. Therefore School Management System is useful to improve the working conditions and standards. Regent International College is one of the best International Schools in Gampaha district, which has classes from Nursery to Advanced Level. Presently the school has more than 500 students and about 60 staff members. The School Management System allows users to store information, these information can easily search, edit, view etc. and can generate reports. The system will use by the Management, Principal, Administration staff and Teachers to control the college work. The access level of the system is divided according to the user levels. The system is windows based user friendly system, developed using Microsoft C#.net programming language and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 was used to develop the database. ArgoUML software is used as unified modeling language. The system was successfully finished all the stages and has good working condition.
