Job Application and Recruitment Management System for EDM Systems Pvt Ltd

Abstract

This Job Application and Recruitment Management System was developed for EDM System Pvt Ltd based on the concept of automating internal processes of the company. This client is a well known local company, developing software packages, which is based on an Australian company. The proposed system was developed to facilitate my client to automate their job application process and recruitment management process. EDM Systems has their own way of recruiting employees for their software development. A candidate who applies for a job as a programmer in EDM Systems needs to go through different phases to be recruited as a Programmer. Management need to always analyze their candidate performances in each and every stage and also need to maintain proper data of each candidate. Analyzing of each candidate with accuracy is not a simple task in a manual system. The existing manual system had a lot of drawbacks such as inefficiency, inaccuracy of analysis and reporting, time consumption to analyze and short list candidates, violation of the security of candidate s personal details and difficulties in historical data management. JARMS will be capable of addressing all these issues identified above. Areas such as candidate Registration, maintaining candidate qualifications, evaluating candidate performance and select the best candidates, analyzing candidate progress data with EDM Systems, project based data management system, customized management report generation, re assigning candidate phases according to management decisions and assigning system users privileges to operate the system are covered by this proposed system. JARMS is developed in an object oriented platform, using Microsoft Visual Fox Pro as programming language, which also facilitates me with the database management and report generation. JARMS will be a complete solution for EDM Systems to fulfill their objectives and goals in the recruitment management process.
