Abstract: The success of every business relies on making right decisions at the right moment as well as performing the related tasks fast and effectively. In this occurrence, computer based solution plays a vital role as they are reliable and yet speed remedies in their day to day business purposes. Sharp Vision computer institute is one of the leading institutes situated in Boralesgamuwa. This institute conducts lectures for computer studies. Currently they conduct classes for beginners, school leavers and students who are currently seeking advanced knowledge in computing. The system provides interfaces for users to manage activities, such as schedule examinations, create new batches and courses, maintaining student records etc. In return system provides quick inquiries for day today activities and output reports. Also it facilitates to manage user logins. The developed system is a fully client satisfied application which is easy to use by even a non IT related personnel. Software is built on Microsoft Windows platform. Unified Modelling Language was used to model the system and the programming language used was .net frame work and also used MS SQL server as the database management system. The overall objective of the system is to provide a full-pledged solution for institute s current requirements. Bring down the operational cost is also a major fact. Developed software accepted by the end users and currently using for their day to day operations.
