Abstract

Profitability of a company totally depends on how they treat their clients. Serving a client and customer retention is a very much difficult task due to the high competition in industry. With Rapid deployment in ICT clients are no longer waiting for queries but expect instantly. Producers on the other hand should provide accurate information at a glance for the queries made by clients. Costing is the main factor in any business and any mistake returns considerable losses. Such Order Management System allows producers to serve their clients at profitability from pre-costing to reckoning. Trans Gravure (Pvt) Ltd started on early of 2010 exclusively to cater Laminated Printing industry. Quality of printing, durability, competitive pricing compared to other media creates high demand for the Gravure in the printing industry. Thus, it is essential to monitor every aspect of operation, which helps to make decision based on analysis of past records. Order Management System accomplished to record every aspect of the operation whilst analysing order wise profitability etc. Since the company is formed recently, formality of record keeping introduced at the first place from the system. Further, System helps to produce quote based on the pre-costing, stock control, sales order process, purchase order process and customer outstanding. Project module in the system captures materials, resources & expenditure related to order. System also provides variety of valuable Management Information reports. This system was developed in Microsoft Visual Studio .net 2005 platform that is commonly in use for software development. Microsoft SQL 2005 express used as the backend management. Above software are chosen concerning clients IT infrastructures & capabilities.
