VIRTUAL MARKET PLACE FOR VOMMEX INTERNATIONAL (PVT) LTD.

Abstract

With the Exponential growth of the Internet based industry will make massive industrial revolutions with the back and front office applications. Most of the projects are based on the development with the cost cutting and easy to promote the product with the virtual media communications with the social network like Facebook, twitter and Google plus. This will boost the communications and easy to promote the product around the world with no territory limitations. But, Up to now virtual marketing is not concern in Sri Lanka. With the Information Technology all the industries are becoming computerized. It is help to all the end users to do their works in a proper and efficient manner with cost effective. Initially, it was identified that there are no virtual marketing through the study on the most popular service providers in Sri Lanka. Moreover, there are many problems identified to provide their products and keep the records. Some of the Products and Services are not secure and deliver to the end users. The proposed project Virtual Market Place will give a new tradition to the service providers in Sri Lanka. The project is developed as a web based application for the service providers. This website can be accessible via traditional or mobile Internet. It provides a secure, user friendly and cost effective web portal which integrates various service providers across the country. The system developed provides facilities for administrative, vendor, normal users and the registered users. User to access the different services under the single website.User can access more than one service and able to access their services throw the site of the system. User can register as a member and make an advance services in an effective manner. The administrator module of the system is able to handle the administrator s functions. The technologies used to develop this system are PHP, MySQL, Apache server and the tools used are dreamviewer and photoshop. Furthermore this project describes about the quality and acceptance of user interfaces, major code & module structures, test plans & reports, discussion of results of the system and the discussion about the further amendments that can be made to the system. It comprises relevant design, system and user documents, management reports and finally the client certificate.
