Issue Date: 12-Oct-2013
Abstract: Mobile commerce is an evolving field in present day where it address the interaction of mobile user with goods and services available in the internet. This involve accessing them as well as purchasing them. Hence it has the same complexity as eCommerce technologies. The implementation of such secure products and services will be a challenging task in future due to various security threats. With the increase of usage in mobile commerce it is necessary to support secure payments methods. Among payments methods, electronic cash plays a crucial role. It also commonly known as usage of mobile coins which also has the monetary value as the money we use day to day. However to deal with this it is necessary to provide security and anonymity for the users. The anonymity will provide less risks because the user confidential data is not exposed directly to the outside. With this anonymity the main feature which has to support is double spending protection. The objective of the project is to come up with a payment protocol which support anonymity and double spending protection together with the security. For this, a proposed approach is available in the document under design of the system. It describes the entire flow of the payment protocol with the above concepts in line.
